Rajkot: A meeting of Patidar leaders and congress karyakarta took place in Rajkot yesterday, in which they alleged that the party has not appointed enough Patidar leaders on various positions in congress at city and district level in the state.

Khodaldham former trusty and congress leader Mitul Donga informed the media that Patidar sangathan should be given positions in congress and they will boycott if their demand is not fulfilled. The state congress has appointed architect Pradip Trivedi as city president in Rajkot congress and Arjun Khatariya- four-times elected leader in Jilla Panchayat, as district president in Rajkot.

Former Jilla congress president Hitesh Vora, congress leader Mitul Donga, marketing yard director Atul Kamani and other leaders remained present in the meeting. Congress leader Mitul Donga further added that a committee of around 7 leaders is formed for liaison in the meeting and they will approach state congress leaders. They may also approach Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee for this issue, he adds. If their demand is not fulfilled, they will not participate in any program of the congress and boycott.
