Coast Guard undertakes medical evacuation of a critical fisherman off Dwarka coast

Porbandar: Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Interceptor Boat C 413 responded urgently when a distress call of medical evacuation was received from Indian Fishing Boat Pawan Raj where in a 38 year old crew had fallen unconscious following a paralytic/cardiac attack. ICG ship with medical team, took over the patient after reaching the position, provided first aid and medical assistance to the patient during passage and transferred him to Dwarka Govt Medical College for further medical help. He is reportedly stable.
