Ahmed Patel, then Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat and party’s national treasurer apart from political secretary of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, passed away due to Covid-19 infection and related health issues around one and half year ago.
His son Faisal and daughter Mumtaz are active in Bharuch with their social service activities, mainly in Health sector. Faisal had last month tweeted his plan to visit all seven assembly seats in Bharuch and Narmada districts to accomplish the main goal of winning all seven seats.
Gujarat is going to witness general elections of State assembly later this year, possibly in December. DeshGujarat
