Sabarmati: Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL) chairman Keshav Varma today shared the details of new upcoming attractions that are to be developed at Sabarmati Riverfront.

Verma said, the riverfront will be developed as a healthy habitat. An open gymnasium and yoga class will be started at the riverfront. The rowing and yacht boat sail will be started at riverfront jointly by the Army and NCC. The rock climbing activity will be started at the vertical wall.

New 3 lakh trees will be nurtured with Miyawaki method in the monsoon. Two new parks including a heritage park will be developed. The planning of 100 days, 6 month and 1 year is made. The SRFDCL chairman informed that the efforts of auction of riverfront land are ongoing and the prices as per the administration’s expectation are not yet received.
