Vijapur gets a 300-seat new Town Hall

Vijapur: A new 300-seat town hall constructed by local Municipality at the cost of Rs. 24.42 crore at Vijapur in Mehsana district was inaugurated yesterday. The hall is equipped with lighting, sound and projector facilities. The town hall will be available to the people of Vijapur and surrounding areas at nominal rates for social, religious, educational, public as well as private events.

After the inauguration of the hall, Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel said that the state government has planned to provide water to every household and 15,000 villages have now received tap water coverage. He added that the government is committed to ensuring that people benefit from modern facilities and health schemes.
“Issues affecting the citizens like Sanitation, Tap water, and girls’ education are the top priority of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel. And no development work of the municipality or municipal corporations will stop due to a lack of funds,” Said the Minister of State for Urban Development Vinod Moradiya. DeshGujarat
