Anand: A sheep was reported to have been killed and another having been injured in Anand district due to debris of a rocket propulsion system that fell from the sky over several Gujarat villages.

The police have on Monday made an entry in their station diary about the sheep from a flock in Kasor village near Sojitra in Anand getting killed. SP Ajit Rajian said that the owner of the sheep did not agree to file a statement about the incident, whereas district collector YM Daxini said though there is talk of an animal getting killed due to the metal sheet falling from the sky, nobody has come forward to claim ownership of the dead sheep.
