Congress leaders more interested in chicken sandwiches than issues of Gujarat: Hardik

Gandhinagar: Hardik Patel, who today quit the grand old party, has been unsparing in his attacks on the party’s leadership. His resignation letter alleges that instead of focusing on issues in Gujarat, more attention was paid to whether the chicken sandwich for leaders from Delhi was delivered on time or not.

In an indirect attack on Rahul’s frequent foreign trips, Hardik said whenever the country has faced any challenge, or the Congress party needed its leadership to stand up and be counted, the leaders were found to be enjoying a gala time abroad.

He lamented the Congress’ inability to provide a road map for the country’s future and cited it as the main reason why it was suffering electoral defeats in state after state.

Whether it was Ram temple, Article 370 or implementation of GST, the Congress opposed the government merely for the sake of opposing. Hardik says in the resignation letter, that the country was looking for a solution but the Congress party has adopted an obstructionist policy on each of these issues. DeshGujarat
