ACB Gujarat nabs Sub-Registrar and his aide in bribe case

Sanand: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a sub-registrar of sub-registrar office of revenue department in Sanand in Ahmedabad and a middleman in a bribe case of Rs 11,000.
The complainant worked on three documents. The accused sub-registrar Jitendrakumar Vishnubhai Patel released 2 documents out of three after registering them. When the complainant met the accused sub-registrar for release of the remaining one document, he demanded a bribe of Rs 18,000 for the three documents including two already released documents and one pending document.
The bribe was reduced to Rs 11,000 after arguments. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused person Momin Rizwan Gulam Rasul was found accepting a bribe of Rs 11,000 from the complainant on behalf of accused sub-registrar during a trap executed by ACB.
