Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP will expand its Vistarak (full timer cadres on field visit) yojana in the State ahead of upcoming State assembly general elections.

According to State party general secretary Bhargav Bhatt, as many as 104 Vistaraks are already out in the field for six months period covering the assembly seats assigned to them. The second phase will cover rest of assembly seats where Vistaraks will go out in June for six months.

During 11-12-13 June, 12,500 short-term Vistaraks will visit over 10,000 Shakti Kendra (Tauluka panchayat seats in rural areas and polling station in city areas). They will contact govt scheme beneficiaries, page committee members, booth committee members, key voters and others. Party’s office bearers, ministers, district and mandal level office bearers, executive committee members and morcha office bearers etc will participate in this grand abhiyan to reach out to 51,000 booths across the State.

Vistaraks will have an app with the list of page committee members and other details. Gujarat is going to have State assembly elections in December this year.
