Daman: Three people, including a 7 yr old, have sustained serious injuries after falling from a height of 50 feet while parasailing at Jumpor Beach in Daman on Sunday. The incident happened because the contractor did not close down the parasailing despite warning to do so by an agency from Bengal because of the prevailing windy conditions.
Two, who collapsed from a height of 50 feet, are Vijendra Tapendrasingh (45) and Aditya Avdhesh Yadav (7). They are both residents of Aryan Apartment, near Gandhi Smriti Smarak in Navsari. Gajendra Sitaram Rana (19), who was tied to a jeep as the parasailing operator, also fell and sustained serious injuries.
All three are currently being treated at a hospital in Vapi in an ICU and the condition of one of them is reported to be very serious. DeshGujarat
