All information regarding ration card at the your finger-tips with ‘My Ration’ app

Gandhinagar: The Government of India has developed a ‘My Ration’ app with the aim of ensuring people do not face any difficulty under the public distribution system (PDS). Application for the changes in the name, address, division, or duplicate card can be submitted online using the Digital Gujarat platform.
The District Supply Officer said that this is a Government to Citizen (G2C) application which has all information regarding the PDS and ration card in Gujarati language. The ‘My Ration’ mobile app has been designed keeping in mind the local needs of the ration card holder. It contains information such as details about the ration card, details about the family members, details about the quantity the card holder is eligible for, cost of the quantity, and the details of quantity distributed in the last six months.
The user will need to register in the application using his mobile number or email id. Mobile number is mandatory to register in the app. Cardholders musts ensure that they register the same number in the app as the one they are using.
Through this app, the card holder can use his card number to find out details about the fair price shop connected to ration card. Through this app, the ration card holder can also get a receipt of the bill for the quantity distributed against the card.
The link for the Digital Gujarat platform is available in the application. Any communication or grievance with regards to public distribution and the card holder’s opinion about it can all be sent and received online. DeshGujarat
