13 injured in clash over Hindu wedding procession; 28 booked in cross complaints

Vadodara: The police booked 28 accused considering the cross complaints for the violent attacks in a wedding procession with DJ at night on Monday at Baska village in Halol, Panchmahal.
Total 13 people were injured in this incident. During the wedding procession of Navinkumar Sureshbhai Jadav’s cousin, several Muslims allegedly told them to stop playing DJ and asked them why they were playing such songs. As per the complaint filed by Navinkumar Jadav, 14 persons including Ikrambhai alias Bodio Mahamadali Makrani attacked on the wedding procession which caused injuries to 10 persons involved in the procession. The police booked 14 persons as per the complaint.
As per the cross complaint filed by Ajmudin Ilmudin Makrani, 14 people including Manojbhai Mayjibhai Jadav attacked after they asked not to play the song ‘Bhadaka karre’ by DJ. The police booked 14 accused considering his complaint. Thus, 28 accused are booked considering the cross complaints. DeshGujarat
