Vadodara to soon get two new police stations at Akota and Kumbharwada

Vadodara: The Akota and Kumbharwada police stations in Vadodara will start functioning soon, informed Vadodara Police Commissioner Samsher Singh.
The state government had granted approval to start Kapurai, Atladara, Akota and Kumbharwada police stations in the city in 2020.
The proper sites for Kapurai and Atladara police stations are not yet found. However, the works for Akota and Kumbharwada police stations are in its final stage, informed Vadodara CM Samsher Singh.
The Akota police station has been set up in the old sub registrar office in Akota. Kumbharwada police station has been set up in Chhatrapati Shivaji Hall in Varsiya. The notification is also released for the same. The police stations will start after allotment of furniture and vehicles as per the demand of DGP. DeshGujarat
