Surat police develop ‘Textile Suraksha Setu’ mobile app to prevent fraud
May 26, 2022
Surat: Considering the fact that the cloth market in Surat is the biggest source of employment in the city, the police have developed an application called the ‘Textile Suraksha Setu’ app with the aim of preventing defaults.
This app will contain information such as the GST number of the merchants and brokers, whether their shop is owned or rented, along with other such detail. Details along with a photograph of those who have committed fraud will be available in the application.
According to Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar, by feeding all data and making it available online, the possibility of defaults will be nipped in the bud and even if anybody commits fraud, he can be caught very easily.
Though this app is only accessible to the police currently, the details and data about those who are accused of committing fraud is available for the common people. DeshGujarat
