Hardik Patel all set to join BJP

Gandhinagar: Hardik Patel who resigned from the post of Working President of the main opposition Congress party in Gujarat, today in a ‘Press Conference’ programme of ABP News in the State stated that he would join BJP. Hardik throughout his over one hour interaction with ABP News editor Sumit Awasthi and other journalists gave hint that he was going to join BJP. At the end of the programme he in reply to a question stated he was indeed going to join BJP. The date of Hardik’s joining the party is yet not decided.

29 year old leader also talked about his plan to hold Ekta Yatra from Somnath to the Statue of Unity after his joining the party. When asked which was the biggest issue at present faced by Gujarat, Hardik replied it was the issue of paper leaks in competitive and recruitment exams as the issue was linked to millions of aspirants. He said the State government should bring in a law against paper leak incidents.

Hardik said the party he would join would take decision on him contesting upcoming assembly election from which seat. Hardik clearly mentioned in reply to a question his observation and experience that there was no place for Patel leaders in Congress party.

During the conversation, Hardik also stated that he believes the cases against those who killed a police man, those who burnt the buses during year 2015 quota agitation should not be withdrawn.
