Narendra Modi stadium all set to host two big cricket matches

Motera: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and many celebrities may arrive at Narendra Modi stadium to watch the final match of IPL on Sunday 29th May.

The qualifier-2 round of the IPL will be held today at Narendra Modi stadium between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore from 7.30 pm. The stadium has a capacity of 1.32 lakh audience. Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastava has appealed to the audience to use AMTS and BRTS buses to reach the stadium. Total 127 AMTS and BRTS buses are arranged for the audience.

Over 300 celebrities are likely to remain present at the stadium on the IPL final match on Sunday. Total 31 parking plots are set-up within a 2 kms area from the stadium. There are 8 parkings for two wheelers and 23 parking lots for four wheelers.

Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastava has declared ‘No Drone Fly Zone’ in the city on Saturday. The flying of drones, quad copters, powered aircraft, micro light aircraft, hot air balloon, para jumping will be prohibited on Saturday.

The stadium will have strict police bandobast in the match including 5 DCP, 7 ACP, 10 PI, 15 PSI, and 5000 policemen.

Almost all the tickets for the match are sold. The ticket booking was available only through online mode. DeshGujarat
