Gujarat govt reminds Municipal Commissioners to execute Gujarati language use order

Gandhinagar: Minister of state for urban development Vinodbhai Moradiya ordered the administration to encourage the use of Gujarati language in the municipal corporations of the state.

Minister of state for urban development Vinodbhai Moradiya ordered the municipal commissioners of the 8 municipal corporations of the state to encourage use of Gujarati language in the municipal corporations. The state government published the required resolutions and instructions on 18th February 2022 to encourage the use of Gujarati language in the state, he added. As per the resolution, the administration should use Gujarati language equivalent to the other languages or clearly visible from the first sight than other languages in the municipal corporations and their areas.
