Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has made the movie ‘Nayika Devi- The Warrior Queen’, tax-free in the state.

The film is made tax free under the film encouragement policy of the state government. The state government will pay the SGST to the cinema halls for displaying the film.

The cinema owners will have to clearly mention ‘This film is Tax Free’ for it. The cinemas can claim for getting the concession for SGST for display of the film with required evidences to the Directorate of Information, Gandhinagar.

The film is about Nayika Devi, the queen of Gujarat, who ruled Patan, and overthrew Mohammad Ghori on the battlefield in 1178. DeshGujarat
