Ban on beach bath in Diu for three months
June 04, 2022
Diu: Diu collector has ordered a ban on bathing in all the beaches and sea in Diu from 1st June to 31st August. The ban is imposed due to safety reasons during the monsoon. The visitors can visit the beaches but they are not allowed to bathe. The collector has implemented section 144. The legal actions will be taken under IPC 188 and 291 against those who breach the ban. The ban is imposed because higher sea waves are formed with more current and wind during the start of the monsoon which can be hazardous to humans. A police complaint will be filed against those who breach the ban. DeshGujarat
