PM to inaugurate IN-SPACe Headquarters this week in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday during his Gujarat visit will inaugurate the headquarters of the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) at Bopal in Ahmedabad.
IN-SPACe is an autonomous nodal agency, approved by the Union Government and overseen by the Department of Space. This organisation shall act as a medium between ISRO and the private space sector in India.

Under the IN-SPACe, the private entities will be sharing space infrastructure and premises under the control of ISRO to perform space activities.
The infrastructure and properties of ISRO will be used for the first time by the private sector.
