Hindu girl from Chhattisgarh raped in Surat city; case filed

Surat: A 19-yr-old Hindu girl from Chhattisgarh has filed a complaint at Mahidharpura police station of Surat against a youth from the city for raping her at a hotel on the promise of marrying her.
The Hindu girl had come in contact with Mohammed Imran Raza Ajmullah Raine through social media and in no time their friendship blossomed into love.
The girl says that she had visited the city after being persuaded by Mohammed Imran to do so and had spent a night in a hotel near the city’s railway station. It was at this hotel that Mohammed Imran raped the Hindu girl after promising to marry her soon, the girl has claimed.
Mohammed Imran had then convinced the girl to return back to her home in Chhattisgarh till such time that he was able to marry her.
The girl in her complaint alleges that Mohammed Imran has stopped answering her calls since her return to Chhattisgarh from Surat.
The Mahidharpura police have registered an offence against Mohammed Imran and are investigating the matter further. DeshGujarat.
