Gandhinagar: IMD Meteorological Centre Ahmedabad, releases the weather forecast for 5 days with effect from June 10, 2022, that said that “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places around the state”.

Forecast for June 9 till June 12, suggests that Light to moderate rain/ thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Valsad, and Tapi, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir-Somnath & Junagadh.

Dry weather is very likely in all the districts of the Saurashtra- Kutch and in Diu region and in the remaining districts of the South Gujarat region for the whole next 5 days.

Whereas North Gujarat will likely remain dry but may get Light to moderate rain/ thundershowers between 0830 Hrs. IST of 11/06/2022 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 12/06/2022.

IMD also informed that Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the North Gujarat region and Saurashtra; weather was dry over the South Gujarat region & Kutch for 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST on 09-06-2022. DeeshGujarat.
