PM interacts with beneficiaries of government schemes in Navsari, Gujarat

Navsari: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a freewheeling interaction with beneficiaries of multiple government schemes in Navsari, Gujarat earlier today.

Prime Minister sought first hand feedback of how people have benefitted from various schemes. People shared their individual stories of how they have been able to derive benefits from these schemes, including Stand up India, Van Bandhu Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, among others.

One of the beneficiaries spoke about her daughter’s hearing disability. She thanked PM Modi since her daughter was able to get treatment and hearing implant through a government scheme free of cost, which would otherwise have cost around Rs 6-7 lakh.

Some youngsters spoke about how they have been inspired by PM’s clarion call for Aatmanirbhar Bharat. They spoke about having availed loans under various initiatives of the government, and how they have now become job creators.

A woman entrepreneur spoke about deriving benefits through self help groups. She said that now they are able to reach out to a bigger market for their produce and are able to earn about Rs 15-16 lakh per annum.

A woman beneficiary thanked PM Modi for helping her realise her dream of having a house of her own through PM Awas Yojana.

Farmers of the region spoke in detail highlighting the benefits of organic and natural farming, and said that PM’s nudge in this regard has helped boost their income from farming.

Prime Minister said that while deriving benefits from government schemes, people should also make an effort to ensure that society also gets benefits. DeshGujarat
