June 13, 2022
Ahmedabad: The Corona pandemic is once again looking to raise its ugly head and corona cases have been consistently rising for the past one week in Ahmedabad. To ensure that the situation does not go out of control, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will begin taking action to strictly implement the Corona Guidelines from today onwards.
The campaign to conduct random checks for masks at public gatherings, public places, as well as commercial complexes will be restarted and fines will be levied on anybody who is found not wearing it. Domes will be set up to enhance Corona testing. It is therefore advisable to wear a mask while visiting public places.
The Health Department of the AMC has also started Corona testing of passengers arriving at ST Depot in Gita Mandir and Kalupur Railway Station owing to corona cases almost doubling in the span of one week in Ahmedabad city. DeshGujarat
