Bharuch’s Dudhdhara Dairy to start ops in Mumbai, CR Patil conducts virtual Khat Mahurat

Bharuch: Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil conducted khat mahurat of Dudhdhara Dairy’s Rs 70 crore Mumbai plant virtually at the Bharuch dairy’s 63rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in the meeting hall of Jhadeshwar Swaminarayan Temple on Monday.

He also conducted ‘Bhumi Pujan’ for the Rs 5 crore Srikhand plant with an installed capacity of 10 Metric Tons to come up at Bharuch.

Besides this, Patil also threw open for the people Dudhdhara Dairy’s 500 KV solar system installed at a cost of Rs 2 crore.

The AGM was held to discuss the profit-loss accounts of the Dairy. Chairman Ghanshyam Patel announced that the Dairy’s decision to increase the milk procurement rate from the current Rs 725 to Rs 735 for its 62,000 members. A decision to release Rs 17 crore in cash as part from Rs 35 crore outstanding as part of improved milk procurement rate for the previous financial year was also taken at the AGM. The Dairy will pay the remaining dues in the form of infrastructure and fodder.

Members also cheered an announcement for providing deep freezer as well as bulk milk cooling unit to all societies under the Dairy. DeshGujarat
