Jamnagar: The state government has sanctioned a grant of Rs 271 crores under the ‘Amrut Mission Yojana’ for undertaking development activities in Jamnagar city. The grant will start being released in instalments as each development project receives in-principle approval.

The amount will be spent on laying water supply pipelines and strengthening the underground sewage network of Jamnagar city, according to the standing committee chairman, Manishbhai Kataria. DeshGujarat
