Man booked for stoking communal fire in Bhuj suo motu appears before cops

Bhuj: Haji Jumma Raima, who has been booked by the Bhuj police, for trying to spread communal hatred on Wednesday appeared before the police suo motu and recorded his statement. He was accompanied by many prominent social and political leaders from the Muslim community.
Haji Jumma Raima is a businessman from Gandhidham and recorded his statement at the ‘A’ Division police station of Bhuj. The police are investigating if the Haji Jumma Raima against whom the police have filed a criminal offence and the Haji Jumma Raima who appeared before the police yesterday to record his statement are one and the same persons.
Condemning the police case against Haji Jumma Raima, Congress leader and Kshatriya community leader Shailendrasinh Jadeja said that Shri Raima enjoyed a good reputation not only among the Muslim but also in the Hindu community. He exhorted the police to conduct a free and fair investigation into the police complaint against Shri Raima.
AIMIM Gujarat Vice President Shakil Sama has asked the police to take action against the person who delivered the inflammatory speech and the source who recorded the speech and made it viral in the social media.
