Gujarat receives 2.58 per cent of total average monsoon rain

Gandhinagar: Gujarat completes 2.58 % rain of the average monsoon season, with a total rainfall of 21.92 mm reported so far, as per a zone wise rainfall report dated 18th June.
Surendranagar reported the highest percentage of rain of the average monsoon season among the districts of the state, which is 8.27 percent; followed by 5.66 percent in Amreli and 4.81 percent in Junagadh.
Muli taluka of Surendranagar district reported the highest percentage of average rain which is 15.81 %, followed by 15.02 % in Kalavad taluka in Jamnagar.
The average rainfall completed in the zones of the state is: Saurashtra: 4.24 %, North Gujarat: 2.76 %, East Central: 1.96 %, South Gujarat: 1.45 %, Kutch: 1.40 %. DeshGujarat
