A public school in Surat where students bring feed for birds, soap for handwash on birthday

Surat: The students are supposed to bring soaps and feed for birds on their birthdays at Dr C.M. Desai Primary School run by Surat city primary education committee.
Dr C.M. Desai Primary School, in Bhatar, Surat has started a new initiative for celebrating the birthdays of the students. The female students of the school bring soaps and feed for birds instead of chocolates or cakes. The school has started a soap bank after covid-19 pandemic and the donation of soaps is accepted in it.
The school has arranged a special crown and a special scarf for the birthday girls for clicking pictures. The birthday girls are supposed to bring soaps for the soap bank and birdseed on their birthday. The girls bring at least one soap on their birthdays. DeshGujarat
