A procession was held prior to the sthapana of Gram Devta Hanumanji by Tapi Jilla Rashtriya Janjati Manch and Bhathiji Seva Sangh on this occasion on Saturday.

It is learnt that no Hindu religious celebrations were held in the village for many years. The locals were therefore in joyous mood while celebrating their return to Hindu faith.

Over 35 locals from 6 families converted to Hindu faith during the ceremony.
