Gujarat completes nearly 5 per cent of average monsoon season rain

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has completed nearly 5 percent rains of total seasonal average so far. The State had as on 8 am today 4.98 % rain of the average monsoon season, with a total rainfall of 42.33 mm reported so far, as per a zone wise rainfall report dated 18th June.
Surendranagar reported the highest percentage of rain of the average monsoon season among the districts of the state, which is 10.69 percent; followed by 7.83 percent in Valsad and 7.40 percent in Amreli.
Muli taluka of Surendranagar district reported the highest percentage of average rain which is 20.43 %, followed by 18.79 % in Chotila taluka in Surendranagar
The average rainfall completed in the zones of the state is: Saurashtra: 5.86 %, North Gujarat: 3.46%, East Central: 4.23 %, South Gujarat: 5.48 %, Kutch: 2.19 %. DeshGujarat
