Surat: Dindoli Police have nabbed a person from Limbayat area for alleged rape of a minor Hindu female at his home after enticing her for marriage in Surat.

The 16-year old victim female from Uttar Pradesh, lives with family in Pandesara. Her parents doubted after finding her frequently talking to someone on call 3 months ago. When her father asked about it, she said that a person named Taufiq Patel frequently called her after somehow managing to get her mobile number.The accused Taufiq Jahangir Patel allegedly lured her into marriage. The female had left her home 2 months ago after getting upset when her parents scolded her for talking to the accused. However, she had returned home after some time.

The accused Taufiq Jahangir Patel then allegedly eloped with her and took her to his home after luring her into marriage, where he raped her. The minor female’s father got a call from her on 20th June, in which she told him that the accused raped her at his home after luring her into marriage. She had returned home at night. Her family noticed swelling on her face and inquired about it. She replied that the accused beat her when she denied to have sex with him, after which he raped her. DeshGujarat
