Gujarat completes over 7 per cent of average monsoon season rain

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has completed about 7 % of the total average rain of monsoon season so far. As of Monday morning, the state has received a 7.1% rain of average monsoon with a total rainfall of 59.57 mm against the average of 850 mm, as per the zone-wise report on rainfall dated 27 June 2022.
Surendranagar in Saurashtra region has received the highest rainfall against the average rain of the monsoon season, which stands at 12.65%, followed by 12.1% in Amreli and 11.74% in Junagadh.
Savarkundla in Amreli district has witnessed highest average rainfall percentage of 26.83%, followed by 25.76 % in Muli of Surendranagar.
The average rainfall completed in all regions of Gujarat is: Saurashtra 9.32% %, South Gujarat: 7.18 %, East Central: 5.97 %, North Gujarat: 4.05%, Kutch: 3.75 %. DeshGujarat
