Gujarat Police sends the list of drug mafias from America involves in Bopal drug case to FBI

Ahmedabad: Rural police here have sent the names of 100 accused drug mafias allegedly involved in the Bopal drugs case, to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The police seized emails, mobile phones, laptops of the accused for investigation. The names of 100 drug mafias were revealed in this case. Ahmedabad rural police had found the drugs racket run by accused Vandit Patel in November 2021. He allegedly ordered drugs from countries including the USA through air cargo with help of dark web. Total 8 accused including Vandit Patel were nabbed in the case. The police has seized 200 packets of various drugs which included MD, cocaine, ganja and charas.
The accused Vandit Patel confessed that he had made a payment of 25 thousand USD (Rs 17 to 18 lakh) through crypto currency for the consignment lastly ordered by him. The drugs network was running since 2012. The accused ran a salon named REXON salon in Bopal area, through which he found his soft targets. It was revealed that the accused Vandit Patel used Snapchat to communicate with the suppliers in USA. He allegedly used to order drugs from south India and Mumbai also.
