Surat: Surat has been chosen as the venue for the state executive meeting by the Gujarat BJP. The state executive will meet on July 8 and July 9 at the Sarsana Convention Center in Surat.

The meeting will be attended by around 750 people, including the chief minister, state party president, all party MLAs, city and district party presidents, general secretaries and Rashtriya Prabharis. Surat has been chosen as the venue for the state executive meeting at a time when assembly polls are just round the corner.

Because the state executive meeting is scheduled to be held in Surat, a meeting for the same was presided over by Surat city president and attended by office-bearers and municipal councilors at the BJP office in Surat city to discuss the issue of preparation for the two-day executive meeting.
