Ahmedabad: In the 288th meeting of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) officials announced the formation of the ‘Gujarat Town Planning and Consultancy Company’ which will function as a learning and counselling institute.

“The Proposal for the same is sent to the State government and the company will be operational as soon as AUDA gets clearance” officials informed.

AUDA is doing the development work worth 1900 crore and is planning to hire more staff in order to finish the work in the allocated time.
The Development Authority has also taken up the ‘Jal Jeevan Project’ under which it will provide safe drinking water through a tap in every rural household by 2024.

Besides this, AUDA is also going to contribute 50% of the total Rs 135.70 crore for the Flyover & Underpass Projects from Bhat Bridge to Tapovan Circle the board decided. DeshGujarat
