Gujarat CM launches, dedicates Rs 214 crore development works in Jamnagar city

Jamnagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, from the State capital Gandhinagar, today virtually dedicated and laid foundation stone for various developmental projects worth Rs 214 crore in Jamnagar that are materializing through the grant of GUDC, GUDM and 15th finance commission under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojna.

CM Patel virtually dedicated Rs. 128 crore works that include PPP (Public Private Partnership) modelled Waste to Energy plant of Rs 90 crore, two lane ‘Baba Saheb Ambedkar Railway Over Bridge’ at LC (level crossing) number 199  built at a cost of Rs 30 crore from Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojna and GUDC grants, four lane road from Nagmati river bridge to Hapa marketing yard built at Rs 8 crore under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojna.

He performed virtual foundation stone laying of development works worth Rs 86 crore. The projects include water supply work through DI pipeline worth Rs 61 crore, UCHC center at Hapa worth Rs 10 crore and construction of asphalt roads at various places in the city worth Rs 15 crore.
The PPP based Waste To Energy plant, of 450 metric ton capacity will generate 7.5 megawatt electricity daily.
