Gujarat CM approves Rs. 28 crore water supply works for 3 municipalities

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs 28 crore for works under water supply scheme in 3 municipalities of the state namely Vadali in Sabarkantha, Karjan in Vadodara and Mundra-Baroi in Kutch under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana.

CM Patel has approved Rs 6.31 crore for Vadali municipality, Rs 91.49 lakh for Karjan municipality and Rs 20.78 crore for Mundra-Baroi for water supply works. The water supply works will be undertaken considering the estimated population of 2052 with the current base year. Gujarat Urban Development Mission had given the proposal, which is approved by CM Patel. The proposed scheme includes rising main, high tank, pumping machinery, underground sump, distribution system and so on in the 3 municipalities.

CM Patel has approved Rs 67.01 lakh for connecting the gutter lines of 1537 accommodations with the main gutter lines in 3 municipalities namely Tharad, Dhrangadhra, and Visavadar, under private societies public participation scheme. The maximum amount to be provided for connecting drainage lines of accommodations in society with main drainage line is Rs 7 thousand per connection, as per private societies public participation scheme. CM Patel has approved Rs 18.56 lakh for drainage lines of 270 houses in Tharad, Rs 24.97 lakh for gutter lines of 500 houses of Dhrangadhra, and Rs 23.48 lakh for Visavadar.
