Gang that included terminal manager of AAI smuggling gold at Ahmedabad International Airport busted

Ahmedabad: The Revenue Intelligence has succeeded in exposing an entire gang responsible for smuggling gold at the Ahmedabad International Airport and arrested Sahil Firozkhan Pathan (native of Limbayat in Surat) as well as Mohammed Pakhali. A terminal manager of the Airports Authority of India and three members of the housekeeping staff have also been arrested in this regards.
As much as 3849.12 grams of smuggled gold worth Rs 2.02 crore has been seized from Sahil and Pakhali, who arrived as passengers on a flight from Dubai. The gold was noticed by the Revenue Intelligence officials while checking the bags of the two accused. DeshGujarat
