Each CHC and PHC in Valsad to have own ambulance; 18 added this week

Valsad: Valsad district administration has purchased 18 ambulances for the Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs) of the district.
7 out of the 18 ambulances have already arrived and the remaining 11 will be delivered by the end of this month. Three ambulances are purchased from Decentralised District Planning for Magod, Nani Tambadi, and Nani Dholgungri. Three ambulances are purchased under Tribal Area Sub Plan (New Gujarat Pattern) for Umarsadi, Khatalvada, Anklas. Four ambulances are purchased under notified area comprehensive development for Chhiri, Karvad, Fansa, and Solsumba. Three ambulances are purchased from the planning grant of the District Development Officer for Dharasna, Vatar, and Hanumatmal. Two ambulances for Nanapondha and Kaprada are purchased from the fund of MLA Kaprada, 1 ambulance for Daheri is purchased from the fund of Daheri gram panchayat, and 2 ambulances for Pariya and Vaknal are purchased under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from Pidilite industry ltd.
It is learnt that the ambulances will be made available for all the remaining PHCs and CHCs of the district by the end of this year from the finance commissions of the district and taluka level.
