Amit Shah dedicates, kicks off more public works on 2nd day of his constituency visit

Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah dedicated and laid foundation stones of 11 public oriented works of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) for the cost of around Rs 210 crore.

He dedicated the Bopal water-supply project of Rs 77.53 crore built by AUDA. He dedicated an international sports complex built by AUDA in Manipur-Godhavi area at a cost of Rs 9.69 crore. He also dedicated 70 EWS accommodations built at a cost of Rs 7.73 crore by AUDA in the Bopal area.

He laid foundation stones of tree plantation works of Rs 10.17 crore around SP Ringroad and Rs 6.06 crore in the villages under AUDA under Mission Million Tree of AUDA. He laid foundation stones of 1157 meter long 6-lane flyover bridge at Kamod circle at Sardar Patel ring road at a cost of Rs 77.71 crore. He also laid the foundation stone of Canal overbridge at Manipur-Godhavi at a cost of Rs 14 crore. He also laid the foundation stone of waste disposal works at 55 villages under AUDA under Swachh Bharat Mission.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that three villages of Aadarsh Gaam of the country are of Gandhinagar constituency. He added that 14 new lakes will be built in Ahmedabad corporation and AUDA at a cost of Rs 100 crore in upcoming time.
