Surat mayor seeks guidance from PM ahead of attending Singapore smart city summit

Surat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has personally offered his guidance to Surat Mayor Hemali Boghavala before she attends the biennial Singapore Smart Cities Workshop & World Cities Summit -2022 to be held in Asia’s financial capital.
This world summit will be held between July 31 and August 4 with Boghavala invited to attend the event on August 2. Over 4,000 representatives from 500 different cities of the world are expected to attend this event this year.
This event is organized to discuss the challenges before cities and to brainstorm over how to make them more livable by inviting officers, functionaries and businessmen from all over the world. Surat mayor Hemali Boghavala has been chosen as the representative of the Indian city of Surat.
Experts, technologists, city officials and functionaries will narrate their experiences and give their opinions at this program.
