July 31, 2022
Bhuj: District Development Officer (DDO) of Kutch has made a clarification regarding a video which has been made viral by a local scribe in which dead cattle are shown dumped near district headquarters Bhuj.
Kaushik Ji,
और, हम कर रहे हैं काम. https://t.co/BJwnSLzhUy pic.twitter.com/qsvgtHR664

According to Bhavya Varma, DDO of Kutch, the dumping site clears 30-35 dead cattle everyday. Against that the viral video shows dead bodies of 40-45 dead cattle. Since the night of 29th of July, the dead bodies could not be cleared the way they should be due to some reasons known to a contractor. So the video of all cattle, dead bodies of which were not cleared on 29 July night had gone viral on 30th July. These bodies were then cleared properly.
