Isanpur observes strike after body parts of cow found outside Mandir; accused nabbed

Ahmedabad: City Police has nabbed 26-year old Faisal Khan, resident of Vatva area of city for throwing parts of the dead body of cow outside a Shiv temple in the city’s Isanpur area.
The city police through scanning of CCTV footage of the area and technical surveillance found that at 7.26 am a person was moving on a Honda Active two-wheeler with a bag full of parts of a dead calf. Subsequently the accused Mohammad Faisal Mohammad Ayub was nabbed from Rakhial with same two-wheeler.
Hindu organizations had given a strike call in Isanpur area against the incident. Almost all markets and shops remained closed in the area to press for the demand that the accused be nabbed within 24 hours.
