Amit Shah to chair 6th All India Prison Duty Meet 2022 in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The 6th All India Prison Duty Meet 2022 will take place in September 2022 under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
It will be held for 3 days from 4th to 6th September 2022 at Transstadia Stadium at EKA club. Union Home minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the meet. The meet will be held with the support of Bureau of Police Research and Development.
Over 1200 jail officials and employees from the jails across the country will participate in over 12 competitions including quiz, unarmed combat, first aide, health care, computer & technology, one minute drill, prison business model, fine arts & music, prison hygiene, best practice and games like volleyball, kabaddi, 100 meter men & women, 400 meter men & women, long jump men & women, high jump men & women
The All India Prison Duty Meet was previously held in Telangana in 2016. Total 5 All India Prison Duty Meets have been held so far in the country. It was held in Ahmedabad in the year 2007. DeshGujarat
