Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad police have organised a 21-km night half marathon at night on 27th August from the riverfront event center to Sindhu Bhavan road, to spread a message of stop the drugs and living healthy lifestyle among the youth.

Over 1 lakh runners are expected to join the night half marathon. Ahmedabad police commissioner Sanjay Shrivastav and State Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi will join the marathon. Bollywood stars such as John Abraham and Vicky Kaushal will also join the marathon. Many renowned industrialists and celebrities will also join the marathon.

A podium will be set up at each 1-km distance from the riverfront starting point. There will be a special glimpse of defense weapons in the marathon. All the IPS and in-charge police commissioner Ajay Chaudhari will participate in the marathon. There will also be fun runs of 2 to 5 km on the 21-km route. The DJ facility will also be made for entertainment. There will be 23 stages on the route of the marathon.

Registration is necessary for participation in the event. It can be made by scanning the QR code of the event. There will be running options of 2km, 5 km, 10km, and 21 km in the event.
