New Delhi: The central government has approved Z Category security for top businessman Gautam Adani, chairperson of the Adani group, considering the intelligence inputs from the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Adani will bear the expenses of the security provided to him. A total of 33 security guards will be deployed for security.

The Z Category security was also provided to Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani previously. They also bear the expenses of the security by themselves. Security will be provided for the family members and personal employees of Gautam Adani when required.
