Gandhinagar: The Kalol court in Gandhinagar has issued a non-bailable warrant against Zafar Sareshwala, the manager of Parsoli motors, and his son Habib Zafar Sareshwala.
Ridham Mukeshbhai Sheth, living in Kalol, had filed a complaint in Kalol taluka court against the directors of Parsoli motor works Pvt ltd namely Talha Yunus Sareshwala, Umar Uvesh Sareshwala, Habib Zafar Sareshwala, Uvesh Yunus Sareshwala, and Zafar Yunus Sareshwala under section 138 of negotiable instruments act. Four complaints of a similar kind were filed against Zafar Sareshwala and his son Habib Zafar Sareshwala in the year 2019. The court had ordered both to remain present for a special statement during the hearing of the case of Rs 20 crore check return. However, both of them did not appear before the court.
The court now has ordered a non-bailable warrant against Zafar Sareshwala and his son Habib Zafar Sareshwala. Moreover, the court ordered the regional passport office (Ahmedabad) to seize the passport of Zafar Sareshwala and submit the report of proceedings within 10 days.
Habib Zafar Sareshwala is in Dubai at present. So, the case will be conveyed to the Ministry of Home Affairs of the central government to execute the non-bailable warrant. It is suspected that Dr. MG Anarwala, who issued a medical certificate to Zafar Sareshwala, has issued the same without a check-up. The court has ordered the medical council board of Gujarat to check the certificate’s legitimacy and submit the proceedings’ report within 10 days.
