Gujaratis are self-assured, None can give them free revdi: Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil
August 17, 2022
Surat: “Gujaratis are self-assured. None can give them free revdi.”, claimed state BJP president CR Patil while attacking the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while addressing an inauguration function of 50-bed hospitals at SMC run 4 community health centers (CHC).
State BJP president CR Patil inaugurated 50-bed hospitals at each 4 CHCs of Surat Municipal Corporation at Pal, Bhathena, Bamroli, and Katargam. He said, “Gujaratis extend their hand to give, not to take. So, no ‘revdiwala’ can give revdi. There is no anti-incumbency effect despite the BJP’s rule for 27 years in Gujarat because BJP looks after the public. There is the highest contribution of PM Narendra Modi in building the present state of Gujarat.”
He said while addressing the public after the inauguration, “SMC provides the cheapest and purest drinking water in the country. Clean drinking water is provided to the residents at a cost of only Rs 418 throughout the year. The facility for releasing the polluted water from gutters after treating it is only in Surat. Primary education in the highest number of languages is provided in Surat. The medical services of SMC are the best in the country. Some try to lure the public after coming to Gujarat. Some show free revdi. But look at the Mohalla clinic of Delhi and five-star level hospitals of 50 beds each in Surat. No municipal corporation has built a hospital equipped with the best infrastructure, medical staff, and equipment. This is called all-encompassing development.”
