Sabarmati: Total 60,000 to 80,000 cusecs of water release from Dharoi dam in downstream river bed of Sabarmari began at 4 pm today.

The current water level of Dharoi dam is 188.620 meters. The water will be released from Dharoi dam to Sabarmati river considering high volume of water inflow at present. Dharoi dam is 87.74 percent full at present against total capacity.

Total 60 thousand to 80 thousand cusecs water is planned to be released in Sabarmari river which may gradually result into the flow of 1 lakh cusecs.

The surface of water in Vasna barrage was 128 at 3.25 pm today. Total 7 gates were opened at 3 feet height. DeshGujarat
